Fixed that a telephone line's initial voltage fluctuation may cause DigiTel to answer the ringing line and then immediately hangup. Certain telephone lines may drop their line voltage below 4 volts for an instant after DigiTel answers the ringing line, before the line voltage settles to the typical 7 or more volts during the call. This version ignores initial line voltage fluctuations for an interval set by the "Disconnect" value found in DigiTel's Toolbox's LINE tab x 14 milliseconds. __________________________________________________________________________________________ DigiTel version 20.04.00 "Worktype Number & File Number" 4/10/08 740pm 1. A new WORKTYPE PATHS menu provides an association between up to 10 Worktype Numbers and their respective dictation destination paths, as well as a catch-all path should the user enter a worktype number that is not defined. In each user's profile, in their DICTATION DESTINATION tab, check the "Use Worktype Paths" option to vector this user's dictations based upon the Worktype Number they entered for a particular dictation. Added the "Enter Worktype", "Send Worktype", and "Invalid Worktype" prompts. 2. Added a Department Number field in each user's profile. This number is part of the dictation file name and is displayed in DigiScribe's work list. 3. Increased the CPC Pulse Disconnect voltage threshold from < 2 volts to < 4 volts as some phone extension lines only drop the line voltage to less than 3 volts during a CPC Pulse. 4. Extended the Login, Worktype, and Reference prompt timeouts to allow for longer prompts in case custom promtps are used. Login timeout was 10 seconds, now 20. Worktype and Referenced prompt timeout was 15 seconds, now 20 seconds. 5. Each dictation file now includes an incrementing File Number in its file name. The File Number is displayed in DigiScribe's 22.01.02 version. 6. Added a "Total Dictations" and a "New Dictations" counter. These are displayed in a new Status Bar at the bottom of DigiTel's Activity Monitor. The Total Dictations counter shows the total number of dictation files created. The New Dictations counter shows the total number of new dictations since the last time this counter was reset. The New Dictations counter can be reset to zero in the Toolbox's GENERAL tab, and it is automatically reset to zero when DigiTel is started. The Total Dictations counter can be reset to zero or to a specific number in the Service Menu. (The Service Menu can be shown by a key in the Toolbox's GENERAL tab.) 7. Added an option to "Play tone for new dictations" in the Toolbox's GENERAL tab. When this option is enabled, a tone will be played each time a new dictation is sent. The default tone is a "new email" type of sound. The default tone can be replaced with any wav file, as long as it is called "NewDictationAlert" and placed into "c:\Apptec\Do Not Touch". 8. When adding or editing a user profile and Save is pressed, if the current user's PIN is already defined for another user, the changes will not be saved and a screen message will indicate that the PIN is already in use. 9. Fixed that the FtpMagic license token was not always updated. This would cause FtpMagic to open the Registration Menu asking for a License Key upon startup. __________________________________________________________________________________________ DigiTel version 20.03.03 "VU Meter" 03/12/08 1135am 1. Added VU Meters for each line so the audio level on each line can be monitored. 2. Fixed the condition where a line could become stuck in a state, usually record, with a CPC pulse or the Maximum Record timeout not hanging up the line. 3. Added a "General" tab to the Toolbox and moved the "Minimize upon startup" checkbox from the "Activation Data" tab to the new "General" tab. 4. On the "General" tab of the Toolbox, added a "Show Service Menu" button. Press this button to show and again to hide the Service Menu on the Main Menu. The Service Menu contains a new "Override" feature which provides a manual override for each line. Press "Enable Overrides" to enable all line override buttons. Before pressing a line Override, monitor a line's VU Meter to see if the user is actively recording. Pressing an Override button will force a line from any mode to Stop mode, or from Stop mode to Hangup mode. If the line was in Record mode when Override is pressed, the user will hear the Maximum Record prompt ("...to continue recording, press Record again..."). If the line returns to Record mode, you'll know the user is still actively online. The Service Menu also monitors some internal system parameters including the Line Voltage on each line. 5. Fixed the condition where the "State Time" field stopped incrementing and displayed a "0" when a dictation session began before midnight and continued after midnight. 6. Added more status information to the log file entries and to the "Touch-tones" fields of the Main Menu. When the Maximum Record timeout elapses, an "R" is added to the touch-tone field. When the Maximum Stop timeout elapses, an "S" is added to the touch-tone field. If a line Override is used, the "R" or "S" will be preceeded by an "F" to indicate a "Forced" Maximum Record timeout, or a "Forced" Stop mode. If a Line Override is used to force Stop mode to Hangup mode, an "FH" is added to the touch-tone field to indicate a forced Hangup. If the line hangs up from a CPC pulse, a "C" is added to the touch-tone field. And when a line hangs up, the time of the hangup is noted in the log file. The time of system startup and system exit is added to the log file, showing the state of the lines at the time of exit. 7. Added a new Exit message box. If all lines are "Idle" when Exit is pressed you can press Yes to confirm that you want to exit. If one or more lines are in use when Exit is pressed, you will be given the option to "Yes, when lines return Idle" or "Yes, with lines in use". If you choose "Yes, when lines return Idle", the system will exit after all lines return Idle and remain Idle for about 10 seconds. Use "Yes, with lines in use" with care as you may be hanging up on a user who is actively online. You should monitor a line's VU Meter to see if the user is actively recording before exiting using the "Yes, with lines in use" option. The new Exit message box also fixes a problem where the previous "Are you sure you want to exit?" message box could delay system activity until Yes or No was pressed. 8. Added new message boxes to the Toolbox's User tab for User Delete and the creation of a Dictation Destination path to fix a problem where the previous message boxes could delay system activity until Yes or No was pressed. 9. If the pc lost power or was rebooted while the system was in use, upon startup, the dictation(s) that were in progress will be sent for transcription as before, but now their log file entries will show "Recovered" in their touch-tone field. 10. Added a message box if selecting "vox" audio format mode to remind that "wav" audio format mode is required if sending dictations to DigiScribe. 11. Adjusted the frequencies and amplitudes of the Record, Stop, Rewind, and Fast Forward tones to make them more distinguishable from one another. 12. Upon startup, the ToolBox is automatically openned and then closed briefly to enable it to open quicker the next time it is openned. 13. Changed the Toolbox's Line tab's "Disconnect" default value from 50 to 25 to help ensure sensing of a phone line's CPC pulse from certain phone systems. __________________________________________________________________________________________ DigiTel version 20.03.00 "Multilingual Capability" 12/14/07 610pm 1. Increased the user PIN capacity from 4 to 6 digits. 4. Increased the user capacity from 100 to 200 users. 5. Fixed "Run-time error 13: type mismatch" if Paste before Copy in the user toolbox. 6. Fixed erroneous message "...some lines appear to be in use" when use the X to exit when using a 2-line DigiTel pod even though both lines are idle. 7.
